A beautifully restored vintage Singer treadle sewing machine table featuring a rich polished wooden surface, side drawers, and built‑in storage compartments. The iconic cast‑iron SINGER pedal base is clearly visible beneath, showcasing classic engineering and ornate metalwork. The machine sits in a workshop‑style setting with wooden cabinets and tools in the background, highlighting its craftsmanship and suitability for sewing enthusiasts, antique collectors, or anyone interested in restored heritage machinery and traditional sewing furniture.

Singer Sewing Table

A total restoration, from woodwork and metalwork to reupholstered drawer liners and a modified top to allow it to fit in a specific space

A well‑worn vintage Singer treadle sewing machine sits in a workshop setting, showing clear signs of age and deterioration. The wooden tabletop has visible scratches, uneven finish, and surface damage, while the side drawers appear misaligned and worn. The metal treadle base shows heavy use, with dulling and areas of grime buildup. The sewing machine itself has chipped paint and faded decals, indicating long‑term wear. Surrounding workshop tools and storage units further highlight the machine’s unrestored, aged condition—ideal for showcasing repair projects, restoration services, or antique refurbishing before‑and‑after transformations.

Restored and Reupholstered Chairs

Two examples of restored and reupholstered chairs in my personal collection.

A worn antique wooden chair with a faded red fabric seat is displayed in a workshop environment. The upholstery shows clear signs of age, including discoloration, pressure marks, and fraying at the front corner. The wooden frame has visible scratches, scuffs, and uneven finish, especially along the top rail and legs. Turned front legs add character but show wear consistent with long-term use. The surrounding workspace—with storage drawers, tools, and other wooden furniture—emphasises that the chair is in as‑found, unrestored condition, making it an ideal candidate for furniture restoration, reupholstery projects, or antique repair demonstrations
Two detached wooden components from an antique carved chair are laid out on a workshop bench, clearly showing heavy wear and deterioration. The seat back and lower support section display faded, darkened wood with multiple scratches, chips, and surface abrasions. Carved floral and scroll details appear dulled and clogged with dust, and areas of missing finish reveal underlying wood. One component shows exposed screw holes and structural damage at the joint, indicating previous breakage or failed repairs. The pieces rest on a cutting mat and newspaper, surrounded by workshop tools and a decorative prop in the background—emphasising the chair’s as‑found, poor condition and its suitability for restoration, repair, or woodworking demonstrations.
An elegant antique wooden chair with turned front legs and a richly patterned upholstered seat is positioned before a large ornate vintage mirror. The mirror features an elaborate gilt frame with decorative corner flourishes and a crackle‑finish effect, leaning against a softly lit wall on a neutral carpet. The chair’s deep polished wood tones and intricate upholstery design contrast with the reflective surface of the mirror, creating a classic interior décor setting ideal for showcasing restored antiques, traditional furniture, or period‑style home styling.

Stylish, classical and very useable vintage furniture at its very best

A beautifully carved antique wooden chair with intricate floral and scrollwork detailing sits in front of a large ornate vintage mirror. The mirror features an elaborate gilt frame with crackle‑finish texture and decorative corner motifs. Sunlight casts soft shadows across the neutral carpeted floor, highlighting the craftsmanship of the chair and the reflective depth of the mirror. Ideal for showcasing antique furniture, restoration work, or classic interior décor inspiration.

Two Victorian Mantel Clocks

A stunning pair of Antique Oak Mantel Clocks, repaired and fully restored to their former glory. The fabulous cases sympathetically restored to improve longevity, whilst bringing out the natural beauty

A pair of antique wooden mantel clocks displayed side‑by‑side on a wooden surface, each crafted with ornate carved detailing, brass clock faces, and decorative finials. The clocks sit in front of an elaborate framed landscape painting, creating a classic vintage aesthetic ideal for traditional home décor or antique collectors.

Haberdashers Drawers

Something of a work in progress, but a restored piece of furniture in use and given a new lease of life, in residential setting

An old wooden chest of drawers is shown in an extremely poor and neglected condition, positioned against a stained and damaged wall. The drawers display heavy wear, including cracked and uneven wood surfaces, deep scratches, worn‑away finish, and multiple areas where the veneer or surface layer has peeled off entirely. Several drawers have mismatched or missing label plates, and the metal cup handles are tarnished, discoloured, and aged. Gaps between the drawers suggest warping or structural distortion.
The top surface is cluttered with old documents, folders, and outdated office equipment, further emphasising long‑term disuse and deterioration. Dust, grime, and moisture staining are visible across the entire piece, making it a clear candidate for full restoration, refurbishment projects, or before‑and‑after furniture transformations.
A beautifully restored wooden chest of drawers is showcased, highlighting the transformation from a heavily worn piece to a clean, refined item of furniture. The drawers now feature smooth, even surfaces with a fresh finish that brings out the natural wood grain and warm tones. The previously damaged or missing label plates have been replaced with matching, neatly fitted metal handles that provide a cohesive and upgraded look.
Each drawer front shows consistent colouring and craftsmanship, with edges and joints repaired to sit flush and properly aligned. The overall structure appears sturdy and renewed, free from the warping, scratches, and worn patches characteristic of its earlier condition. Positioned beneath a matching wooden cabinet and lit warmly by decorative lamps, the restored drawers now serve as an attractive and functional piece suitable for interior décor, furniture showcases, or restoration portfolio displays

A retro‑futuristic, steampunk‑inspired energy device is mounted within a polished wooden and brass frame, strongly resembling the iconic Flux Capacitor from Back to the Future. The central chamber features three illuminated amber tubes arranged in a Y‑shaped configuration, connected by ornate brass fittings and exposed copper wiring. Engraved warning plates reading “DISCONNECT CAPACITOR DRIVE BEFORE OPENING” and “SHIELD EYES FROM LIGHT” add to the industrial sci‑fi aesthetic.
The warm internal glow, vintage gauge on the left, and hand‑finished metalwork evoke the look of a handcrafted alternate‑reality power source — ideal for showcasing steampunk props, themed décor, or fan‑made recreations inspired by the legendary time‑travel mechanism featured in the classic film trilogy
